Paul and Kati Henderson in Budapest, Hungary
Paul and Kati Henderson live in Budapest, Hungary. Paul grew up in Smyrna TN, attended MTSU, and after university, traveled to Seattle, Washington to be part of a campus ministry internship. He then moved to Budapest as part of a church plant in 1990, less than a year after the fall of Communism. While his original intent was to remain for five years, he met Kati, and in 1993 they were married. They have 3 children: David—now married, Aaron, and Kaitlin Grace.
In 2014 Paul was asked to serve as lead pastor of Budapest’s Agape Church [http://agapenet.hu/pestszentlorinc/], merging the original church plant with the larger church. Since then, Paul and Kati have been involved in transitioning the church into a community of faith that can influence the nation in the 21st century.
In addition to leading Agape, Kati and Paul are involved in various Kingdom initiatives in Hungary. Kati is a gifted teacher and counselor who leads a vibrant women’s ministry, as well as being president of Aglow international in Hungary. Paul is involved in the national church through regular gatherings with local pastors, speaking in numerous church settings, helping lead the annual 21-day prayer and fasting strategy, and providing leadership and teaching in a national prophetic movement. The Hendersons are both proud and humbled by their longstanding partnership with the Stones River family!
